Dearly beloved, God will make you a vessel of His grace.
Why does God increase His grace? The Bible says, “All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God” (II Corinthians 4:15).
When the grace which is upon us descends upon others, they too will begin to praise God, and thus His name will be glorified.
Recently, we went to a place to attend the marriage of one of my relatives. Since I had some spare time, I visited the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower in that city.
When people knew that I was there, hundreds of them came to see me. The Lord enabled me do His ministry there also. Although I was not prepared to give a sermon, the Lord Himself gave His message through me. I myself was amazed at my sermon that day.
After my message, I prayed for all those people individually. At that time one of the young girls told me, “Aunty, God has given you such an amazing grace. I too need the same grace. So please place your hand on my head and pray for me.” Immediately I embraced her, kissed her and blessed her saying, “Lord, let not my grace but Your grace descend upon this child.”
The Lord not only grants us His grace but He also increases it. When we bless others, the grace of God descends upon them as well. God pours out His abundant grace upon us in order to make us a blessing for others. His grace will overflow from our lives to others bringing glory to His name.
Loving Lord Jesus,
Your grace is amazing. I need your divine grace. Let your grace descend upon me. Make me a channel of your blessings. Make me a vessel of your grace. Let your grace overflow from my life to others. May your name be glorified.
In Your matchless name I pray.
