GOD OF WONDERSEvangeline Paul Dhinakaran

Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare.    (Psalm 40:5)

The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved,

The Lord says, "As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders." (Micah 7:15).

Once, I shared a message on the television saying ‘The Lord promises that He will show you wonders,’ and prayed. A young girl by name Margaret who was listening to this message clung to this verse firmly. She believed that the Lord was going to do a miracle, a wonder for her that day. Particularly, she had to attend an interview that day.

On hearing the promise verse quoted by me, she said to herself with faith, “Sis. Evangeline had given the promise verses, ‘Blessed is she who believes’ and ‘I will make you see wonders.’ So today, I am going to see a wonder.” With this faith, she proceeded to the interview. The Lord gave her that job miraculously. He made her see a wonder that same day.

Mary too, when she heard the words of the angel of God, submitted herself to the plan of God saying, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word." (Luke 1:38). “Oh! The angel of God tells me that Jesus, the Messiah, is going to be born in my womb; how will I go and tell this to others? Who will believe me? How can I go and tell this to my future husband Joseph, to whom I am betrothed?” – such questions and thoughts might have cropped up in her heart. Yet she obeyed that promise. That’s why she begot Jesus, the Son of God, and enjoyed the privilege of bringing Him up.

Dearly beloved, even today, the Lord is going to do a miracle to each one of you who are holding fast to Him with faith and trust. The Bible says, “There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18).

The Psalmist exclaims, “Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare” (Psalm 40:5). God performs marvelous deeds that cannot be counted. The things that He has prepared for us cannot be described in words.

Prayer:

Loving Lord Jesus,

I trust in your promises. I hold fast to You with faith and trust. I believe that You will do a miracle for me. I submit myself to your divine plan. Let your will be fulfilled in my life. Shower upon me all the blessings which You have in store for me. Make me see wonders.

In Your matchless name I pray.

Amen.
