GOD WHO WORKS UNUSUAL MIRACLES!
Stella Dhinakaran
My dearly beloved in Christ,
In Philippians 4:6,7, we read, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Your trust should be in God who is mighty to work unusual miracles in your life. That is why Paul tells us not to worry about anything. We have to take everything to God in prayer and His peace will guard our hearts and minds. Do you have this experience in your life? What should you do even in the midst of this dejection?
According to the above verse, first of all you should throw away the thing that worries you. Do not brood over it and worry about it. Generally, the sisters, who come to me for prayers, will share their problems with me, before praying.
After that, I would pray along with them, pouring our hearts. Even after the prayer, they would be telling me again and again the same thing. Then I used to tell them, Havent we both poured out our hearts in the presence of the Lord, in one accord? Why are you thinking about it again and again? We have handed it over to the Lord. There is nothing impossible with Him. He has heard our prayers. So go back with the hope and faith that He will surely help you. Just thank the Lord that He is removing this problem from you, hearing this simple prayer.
My dear beloved, do not pile up the worries in your heart. Now and then pour out the worries and burdens that fill your heart, at the feet of the Lord (Lamentations 2:19; Psalm 142:1,2). When you thank the Lord, all the worries, burdens, and longings in your heart as well as the doubt as to whether the particular thing for which you have prayed will happen or not, will vanish. Believe that nothing is impossible with our Almighty God.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
I present my requests to You. I choose to be strong in You and in the strength of your might. I resolve to stand firm in my faith and resist the evil one. Comfort my weary soul and strengthen my heart. Remove my sorrow and bless me with divine joy. Let your peace rule my heart.
In Your matchless name I pray.
Amen.
