Commune with Jesus
Mrs. Stella Dhinakaran
There were two friends who studied in the same school. One depended on the Lord for a good life and the other on her own efforts. They both grew up as adults and got married. They both had a good family life until when a storm blew in the one who did not seek the Lord. She lost all her riches and resided in tears. But the one who sought the Lord from her young days was lifted up to possess godly riches! Moreover, she was in a position where she comforted her friend with God’s words and led her to repentance and said, “As you have opened your heart to the living God, He will cause you to multiply.”
Even the Bible speaks about Mary who loved Jesus very much. Jesus remarked on her as, “Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her (Luke 10:42). It so happened because she was eager to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen from Him. His words were sweet to her soul. She served the Lord whole-heartedly. If you would also put all your trust in Him instead of the riches of this world, you would be abundantly blessed with riches that carry no sorrow with it! (Proverbs 10:22). Yes, God would perfect everything concerning you (Psalm 138:8).

Beloved, if you are prioritizing your efforts, strength and wisdom, repent today. Invite Him into your life and acknowledge His ways which are sweet to your soul. Depend on Him constantly and have an incessant communication with Him throughout the day. According to the promise verse for today, “If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him” (Revelation 3:20)” He will be with you always. He is your best friend! His fragrance will diffuse into your spirit, soul and body. You would be emanating His presence everywhere! And you would always stay in His blessed presence as a darling child. Don’t you want this privilege? Say this prayer.
