The Lord loves His people. Because He truly loves us, He is mindful of us. Be assured in your mind that because Jesus has loved you, He will never leave you nor forget you (Isaiah 44:21). In the Bible we see how God blessed the house of Israel, His children (Num.24:1). He loved His chosen people and gave them good things and led them miraculously. But on many occasions, they worshipped other gods and walked in ways that were abominable to Him and they were greatly distressed due to that. Yet in those times, God commanded redemption to them whenever they earnestly sought Him.
A young man was brought up by his parents in the fear of the Lord from his childhood. But in his youth, he joined with his friends who did not know the Lord Jesus. He had no mind to walk in the ways of the Lord and because of this, darkness surrounded him. In the end, he had to face failure, mental agony and restlessness. He felt greatly distressed, not knowing how to express this to his parents who had complete confidence in him. At this juncture, he was convicted of his ways and began to seek the Lord whom he had totally forsaken and surrendered himself to walk in His divine ways. The Lord had mercy on him and gave him a new life and new friends who knew the Lord. He also delivered him from all evil addictions and redeemed him.
Dearly beloved! Do not follow the evil ways of this world but walk firmly in the righteous ways that are pleasing to the Lord. Ask God for this kind of a life and He will transform your life thus enabling you to grow in faith and shine with God's love. He will help you to come out of the earthly ways, deliver you from all bondages and make your soar high as an eagle. Almighty God promises, "I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments" (Exodus 6:6). What a great love! Today give a chance to Jesus to enter into your heart; accept Him as your Redeemer and be blessed as a family. .
